I received my order of pods yesterday....everything turned out great. It was great to find someone like you with reasonable shipping costs
and great access to freshly harvested pods. I'm a member of Reef Sanctuary and just wanted to toss it out to you that i posted your
website and told people to order from you if they were in the market for pods.....and some took me up on it so you should be getting some
business.

I don't know if you do sponsorships of forums or anything but I think what you offer (and if you carried mysid shrimp!) would fill a nice
hole in the offerings of our sponsors.....just a thought.

Hi Dick,
You would not believe how well my torch coral is doing, it is incredible, thank you for such a great coral.

I will need a bottle of reef blend next week, do they make it larger than 16 oz, like 32 0z that may be cheaper?
Also Etta would like a large stainless steel tweezers like I bought from you, can you get one for her and I will pay you?

I would still like that Powder Blue Tang in about 2 weeks, I know we talked about it knowing I have my yellow tang and sailfin tang, but your powder blue is a little larger than them and I think they would do ok, your thoughts?

My rotifers are doing great, my corals love them, can I feed them every night to the tank or only 2 or 3 times a week?

Sorry, lots of questions but I would prefer to ask the expert than guess.

My experience with The Cultured Reef
I had a great experience with the cultured reef (or amphibious here on BARS).  Since I am a beginner to saltwater aquariums, I had scarce knowledge before I met Dick from The Cultured Reef.  I went to get a light, which I got an amazing deal on especialy since its my first T5 HO light, (he's still selling one more Ice Cap for $475.  Its a 6 bulb light and its amazing).  He gave me a ton of info on pretty much everything.  It was great, we were expecting to drive an hour just to get a light but we were surprised by how nice he was and he gave us our first coral and we bought some base rock and he gave us some free hermit crabs it was fantastic.  My tank looks great now thanx to him.  I would highly recommend purchasing anything u need from him.

 I was floored when I was reading the ORCA newsletter and I realized the Dick in the "Determination" article was actually the very same guy who has helped me so much. I will be attending the meeting/frag event this weekend and joining ORCA, and soon, as soon as my nitrates get low enough and stay there, I'll be buying corals. Probably from Ocean Direct and Seven Seas (primarily because they carry your stock and I like keeping my business pointed at the people that help me) if not from other reefers in ORCA. I appreciate your help, and I'll be prompting Fishy Business to deal your stock as soon as Josh takes over.

10/21/10 - Message from customer about his purchase of 60gal Half cylinder.

My experience with the Cultured Reef was nothing short of excellent. After checking out the internet and talking with a few people I caught wind of Innovative Plastics who seem to work through independent dealers. The Cultured Reef has a long relationship with Innovative so I thought I'd give them a shot. I found their website easy to navigate and they responded promptly. The prices were reasonable compared to the same item elsewhere and much better than the competing manufacturers I saw. I was told it would take 4 weeks to produce and it did. I received my shipment properly wrapped and palletized, no damage. The aquarium is flawless. The acrylic cabinet and hinged acrylic canopy are a quality product to say the least, not flimsy or junk. I would highly recommend TCR (The Cultured Reef) for the customer service experience and Innovative for the product they produce, it's a winning combination for sure.

This has just been an outstanding experience from the beginning. Love It! Still need to redecorate some but I included a pic.

Dick, this is to tell you that the ATO Level Loc was received on time last week, and it was easy to install and hook up. It is everything that I wanted in an auto level system; high quality parts and a great design with the redundant shut off. OK, thanks, I appreciate it! (I'm impressed by a store that doesn't try to hype the $$$ merchandise!) For lights, I'm specifically interested in something for the clam(s) . I can go metal halide, but I'd really rather not have a hanging light over that particular tank. If the Galileo would work for clams and sps, I'd be interested in looking at it.

I got the trace elements, Thanks. I did have one question about them. Do I need to still put Kalkwasser (lime water) into the R.O. water to facilitate in the coral's absorbtion of the calcium? Also, can you e-mail me another invoice, I accidentally recycled the one you sent with those totally awesome shirts. I thought they were just going to have your logo on them but they are really cool.

I feel compelled to add a huge thanks for "Amphibious" and all the great information you have shared relative to the Solaris light these past few months. I am just getting back into the saltwater hobby after an absence of about 20 years. So very much has changed; I am somewhat overwhelmed by it. I intend to set up a reef system in the next several months and have been doing quite a lot of reading on the Reef Central site, learning as much as I can so that I keep the mistakes to a minimum. It is folks like you who are so willing to share your knowledge and experiences that gives me confidence I will be doing things somewhat correctly. I had to do a bit of convincing, but I was able to get my wife to okay the purchase of the Solaris. It seems like it will be unbeatable when compared to other options.
